I'm a fucking horrible writer and I can't take critique. I don't know if I should start all over again and fucking edit or keep on doing what I did. I should fucking learn to take critique without immediately suffering a nervous breakdown. Maybe English isn't the right language for me to write in? Maybe I'm just a wannabe after all? Maybe I should stop drowning myself in self-pity?

Post nano-syndrome???

So I’m past the 50,000 which still exhilerates me and busy working on getting on, maybe even reaching the 100,000 as some people said…we’ll see how much I can do for the rest of this month, in any way, Thanksgiving break is coming up which gives me a four-day-weekend to do nothing but write, how cool is that?

I don’t know if what happened today will contribute to it or not, because as a matter of fact I received an unexpected and very, very painful shot in my left shoulder this morning when I was getting dressed so right now every movement of my arms back or sideways ends in excruciating pain and an acute inability to breathe. I’m really not whiny about pain, but apparently I pulled a muscle and even with a good dose of painkillers it just f-ing hurts But typing works just fine, it’s just adding a bit of tension but it works….I don’t know if that’s ironic or not…I really hope it goes away soon though, because I prefer to be able to drive and move and all those nice things…

Anyway, on the question of editing…I’ll stay strong and will wait till the entire draft is written, even though there doubtlessly horrendous parts, I’ll keep my fingers off them and not edit a word till the story of book 1 is done. I’ve also been contemplating to re-structure my story that way for I’d like to have someone who’ll be able to narrate the things that are going on in the Palace of Light, but then again there’s book 2 and a totally new character who will take the lead, because Ares…well you’ll see.

I WIN! I ROCK :D

50,066 words! *dances the Nano victory dance*

But this is not the end, as I said, I want to go on with Light and maybe even finish the first draft till Christmas. I'm currently in the middle of chapter 11 and I think the book will be about 30-35 chapters long, so no slacking-off now even though I'll take it easier from now on, but this was fun and gives you an awesome feeling to see those 50,000 there :D

For everyone who's still working on their novel, remember, Brian is with you (thanks Ebenstone for reminding me of the awesomeness :))

almost done!

So I wrote another 3,162 words today which brings me to a grand total of 47,460 words for Nanowrimo2007 so far, which means, tomorrow I will be done, with the 50,000 at least, which will probably be about one fourth of the entire book for it will take me a while to get that first draft finished, but isn’t this motivating:

*dances the happy dance*

Day 13

Today's been a good day after all :D

I also made another blog/writing archive that's a lot more public and also for reviews etc. at www.nymeria87.wordpress.com I locked my writing with a password, but pretty much everything else will be open to the public and I loved how much you can customize there, definitely need to play with it some more soon :)

Day 12

764 words due to major headache and exhaustion because I didn't get much sleep tonight isn't much, but I passed the 40,000 words today and it feels gooood to have less than 10,000 to go to hit the goal, even though the book isn't finished yet, not by far. But already I've written more in one coherent piece than ever before and it thrills me because I actually have enough plot and ideas to make an entire book and what is more an entire triology out of it. I know that the story's ways away from being perfect right now and that I'll edit a lot but I'm actually looking forward to it a lot and I hope this can actually become good :)
